This year Oticon has launched a new, revolutionary hearing aid called Oticon More, which is the world’s first hearing aid that allows users to hear all relevant sounds thanks to an on-board new BrainHearing™ technology, i.e. Deep Neural Network (DNN).
Less is more has been the industry’s way to treat hearing loss. Conventional technology suppresses the sound scene. With its directionality, noise reduction, feedback management, and traditional compression, conventional hearing aids suppress the natural sound input and deliver a poor neural code to the brain.
